HillaryArt : Testimonials
Your use of color and light to invoke the emotions is exciting. Both Fallen Leaf and Sunday Afternoon are two great examples of this subtle technique which pulls the viewer into a realm of feelings. The feelings that I get from these paintings are often totally different from visitors to my home who have admired your work. One person told me “I was there sitting on that step” while another said he remembers being that hot on a summer day. For me the paintings are a reminder of a slower, simpler time - a place I’d like to return to. Thank you for your great work.
Love your art work. It’s beautiful. You deserve a one woman show which should include some of your wonderful sculpture!
I am intrigued with your art. We would like you to participate in the 4th Annual Pound House Art Show. Please forward the Art Show application and fee. I will follow with details of set up. Call or better yet, email me with any questions. Thank you
I received the paintings of House as well as the fountain this morning, Very lovely, especially the fountain. I still like your landscapes and circus scenes the best. Please send me a print of the Two Sisters. I love your artwork!
WOW!!!! They are fantastic!!! VERY unique and beautiful.
Hillary, your art is awesome. I like the landscape ones and the coffee ones the best. My friend took the fish painting to hang in his apartment because he liked it so much so I’ll have to buy another for myself...
I was wondering if you would send me your website again? I put it on my "favorites. I wanted to keep up with it and see your paintings again.
After thinking about it I've decided that I just can't part with the pictures therefore I'm buying them.
I especially liked Burning House as it is colourful and creates for me personally a feeling of disorder and chaos which is uncontrollable. Late Night Rest Station is a very cam painting and I get a feeling of tranquility.
Love the pictures. The art looks wonderful. LOVE my swans, wow, the colours are brilliant, my son Moshe is begging for it to hang in his room. I should not covet your paintings Hillary.... I love the colours you used for the House in the Woods painting, it is truly stunning. Sometimes when I look at your work I am reminded of different things and times in my life. In many of them I see the influence of Van Gogh. The “House in the Woods” and the “NightRider reminds me of Edvard Munch. Maybe one day you will have an exhibit in Israel... think about it. My daughter keeps referring to your elephants as hers. Please, if you get an offer on it at the show, before you sell, let me know as she has been talking about her elephants for months now.
The paintings are great. Texas Café and the sunsets are my favorites of the new ones.
I think of you often as your paintings hang in my little apartment and I love them dearly!!!
Thank you I hung it on my office wall at the Brennan Courthouse.
I really liked your show....there was a lot of emotion put into your work.
Dear Hillary, Just received your lovely Water’s Edge Painting which has already been placed in the guest room bordered by a light green wall background. Tina and I were really impressed with the blending of such soft and pale shade colors. Keep up with your fine and impressive watercolor paintings.” I liked Red Mountains from your new Texas travel paintings. It makes me think of the vast hinterland of Australia known as the Red Empty.
We happily received your painting. It arrived safely. The frame is just right for her place and the horse helped her remember the horse she had once...
Hillary, your paintings are lovely. I was moved particularly by the motel paintings. I’ve been in that motel before and you perfectly captured the loneliness, isolation despair of the place...
Your art work is wonderful. I am happy for your success.
Your painting is the first thing I see in the morning and last thing I look at before I sleep. It always makes me happy.
